Hey there.  My name is Helen.  My friends call me the 'twentieth century girl', so don't blame me if my blog is crap.  This stuff's like withcraft.  You can't imagine how confusing it's getting with all this edit shit.
But anyway.  I'm into good music, and I hope you are too.  I'd like to think I'm a mod, but you probably wouldn't know if you saw me on the street.  Those mod dresses cost a fortune, you know. 
This blog is here for us who have told pop and mainstream to talk to the hand, and have made our own way through the ever growing world of music to find the diamonds in the rough. 
And I'm here especially for all those teens who have to go to school and put up with chatter about what Justin Bieber was wearing this week or One Direction's new girlfriends.  I know how you feel, my friends.  You want to find others who have actually heard of Paul Weller before.  You want to find others who have listened to A Hard Day's Night.  You want to find others who love music for what it is.  Well hello there, grasshopper.  I'm here to help.
